National Family Caregiver Support Program
The National Family Caregiver Support Program helps adults 18 and over who are caregivers for a loved one 60 years of age or older or for someone of any age who has Alzheimer’s disease or a related dementia condition. Services include education, training, support and respite care for family of elderly, chronically ill or hospice patients.
WSCI provides services through this program in Big Horn, Carbon, Converse, Fremont, Goshen, Hot Springs, Laramie, and Natrona Counties.
Senior Companion Program
Serve as a friend and companion to older neighbors making sure they can live in their own homes for as long as possible.
The Senior Companion program focuses on providing assistance and friendship to older adults who have difficulty with daily living tasks, such as shopping or paying bills. Through this program, AmeriCorps Seniors volunteers keep seniors independent longer and provide respite to family caregivers. AmeriCorps Seniors volunteers themselves report better health and longevity having served their community.

Long Term Care Ombudsman Program
Long Term Care (LTC) Ombudsman work to resolve problems related to the health, safety, welfare, and rights of individuals who live in LTC facilities, such as nursing homes, board and care and assisted living facilities, and other residential care communities. Ombudsman work to promote policies and consumer protections to improve long-term services and supports at the facility, local, state, and national levels.

Wyoming State Health Insurance Information Program
The known and trusted community resource to educate and assist Medicare-eligible individuals through unbiased counseling to make informed health insurance decisions that optimize access to care and benefits. Trained counselors provide understanding of Medicare, prescription drug plans, Medicaid, Medicare supplement and long-term care insurance.

Wyoming Home Services Program
The Wyoming Home Services (WyHS) program is used to provide services to those qualified individuals who are at risk of premature institutionalization. These services are designed to keep people in the least restrictive environment for as long as possible.
WSCI provides services through this program in Park and Fremont Counties.
Senior Medicare Patrol Program
Senior Medicare Patrols (SMPs) empower and assist Medicare beneficiaries, their families, and caregivers to prevent, detect, and report health care fraud, errors, and abuse through outreach, counseling, and education.
Services are offered across the state.
Foster Grandparent Program
Foster Grandparents help guide students to higher academic achievement. Care for premature infants or children with disabilities. Mentor troubled teenagers and young mothers. The Foster Grandparent program connects role models like you with young people with exceptional needs.

AmeriCorps Seniors volunteers who serve with in the Foster Grandparent program provide the kind of comfort and love that sets a child on a path to a successful future.
